发条技师

• 弹幕冲击 makes it hard for Sven to fight Clockwerk in his 能量齿轮. Using 刃甲 while inside Power Cogs will force Sven to either take massive damage from reflection, which bypasses Black King Bar, or waste time destroying the cogs.
• 能量齿轮 greatly limits Sven's positioning, even with 黑皇杖 in teamfight.

魅惑魔女

• Against her 不可侵犯, Sven is barely able to hit Enchantress without using his 黑皇杖.
• 推进 deals lots of damage to Sven if she is left aside.

噬魂鬼

• With his 盛宴 ability, Sven will be in huge disadvantage when going on Lifestealer due to his high strength.
• Lifestealer excels at killing high health heroes, and Sven is no exception.

露娜

• With her 月刃 and 月之祝福 ability, Luna can farm much faster than Sven can, resulting in perhaps getting outcarried midgame.
• If Luna is quick enough to use 月蚀 in anticipation, it can kill Sven quickly if he doesn't have 黑皇杖.

瘟疫法师

• His 竭心光环 deals the same gradual damage over time no matter how high Sven builds his Strength or health pool up, and should he fall down to a certain percentage, his high health will no longer matter if Necrophos manages to land his 死神镰刀, killing him instantly.
• 幽魂护罩 prevents Sven from hitting Necrophos, and if he doesn't have his 风暴之拳 available, it could make him completely immune to Sven.

幻影刺客

• Sven can hardly hit Phantom Assassin against her 魅影无形, and will need to rush a 金箍棒 earlier than usual to deal damage to her.

暗影恶魔

• 崩裂禁锢 can temporarily interrupt Sven's initiation. Even if Sven has 黑皇杖, 崩裂禁锢 can save an ally or simply create a delay until his Black King Bar duration wears off.
• 邪恶净化 pierces Spell Immunity, significantly slowing Sven down. The 阿哈利姆神杖 upgraded version has 3 charges which is more than enough to kite Sven, also disables Great Cleave.

斯拉克

• With all his skills, Slark is extremely hard to catch with your disables.
• Slark can drain your stats with 能量转移 and knock you out in a prolonged fight.

狙击手

• With 瞄准, Sniper is extremely hard to initiate on for a melee hero as Sven, and his 爆头 and 榴霰弹 kites him effortlessly.

修补匠

• Early to mid game, 激光 causes Sven's attack to miss, 热导飞弹 and 机械行军 causes a lot of damage to Sven without even getting close to him.
• Late game, Tinker is available to permanently hex Sven using 邪恶镰刀, and kite Sven by refreshing 幽魂权杖. 激光 still works if Sven didn't build a 金箍棒.

巨魔战将

• Since most of your damage comes from physical attack, 旋风飞斧（近战） allows Troll Warlord to fight you early game.
• With 狂战士之怒 and all his attack speed increase skills, Troll Warlord can almost permanently bash you even you have 黑皇杖.

剧毒术士

• Venomancer forces Sven to choose between using his 黑皇杖, or getting constantly slowed by his poison.
• Venomancer can be especially hard to deal with in lane, as his damage over time will keep Sven from farming effectively.

寒冬飞龙

• 极寒之拥 could save the ally being initiated on.
• 寒冬诅咒 can be devastating to Sven's team, as his massive damage can take out a teammate before there is much time to react.

其他

• In general, any hero that can stun, root or slow will give Sven a difficult time in teamfights.
• 光之守卫's AoE blind, 修补匠 and 暗夜魔王's miss can keep Sven from landing hits.

物品

• 原力法杖 and its upgrade 飓风长戟 kite Sven hard, also can save allies from Storm Hammer.
• 闪烁匕首 disjoints Storm Hammer in quick hands.
• 幽魂权杖 and its upgrade 虚灵之刃 allow for great control of the Rogue Knight. As a strength hero Sven seldom builds 净魂之刃.
• 天堂之戟 neuters Sven's main damage source during a teamfight.
• 阿托斯之棍 roots the Rogue Knight to the ground making him an easy target.
• 刃甲 reflects Sven's massive damage, recommended for beefy heroes or in combination with 恐鳌之心.
• 邪恶镰刀 renders the knight into a harmless pig ready to be butchered.

敌法师

• Anti-Mage is fairly fragile, and cannot stand against Sven in a prolonged fight. 黑皇杖 gives you protection against 法力损毁, Great Cleave will also destroy the illusions from 幻影斧.

育母蜘蛛

• Great Cleave clears Spiderlings quickly in lane.

混沌骑士

• Great Cleave makes short work of Chaos Knight's 混沌之军s.

陈

• Great Cleave clears Chen's Creeps fast in mid to late game.

末日使者

• 末日 cannot purge God's Strength, and can only disable Great Cleave with 阿哈利姆神杖. Sven is still a hard target to fight against even after being Doomed, as long as he activated God's Strength beforehand.

米波

• Great Cleave will devastate Meepo's clones. Against a closely packed group, Sven does not even need to target the clone with the lowest health.

幻影长矛手

• Great Cleave cuts through Phantom Lancer's illusions in no time.

术士

• With God's Strength, Warlock Golem goes down in a matter of seconds. The two weaker golems granted by 阿哈利姆神杖 will fare worse due to Great Cleave hitting both.

• Crystal Maiden's 冰封禁制 and numerous slows make it easy for Sven to catch up to enemies.

谜团

• A well positioned 黑洞 could result in a team wipe for Sven with his Storm Hammer and God's Strength.

黑暗贤者

• A 真空 and Storm Hammer combo can stun the whole enemy team with good cooperation.

艾欧

• 羁绊 and 降临 sets Sven up for easy ganks anywhere on the map. This is effective against single targets because Sven can burst them down without being disabled by the enemy's teammates.

莱恩

• 裂地尖刺 and 妖术 gives Sven plenty of time to beat down the enemy.

马格纳斯

• 授予力量 gives Sven additional cleave and damage.
• A well positioned 两极反转 could result in a team wipe for Sven with his Storm Hammer and God's Strength.

神谕者

• 气运之末 and 虚妄之诺 debuffs most of disarms, making Sven unstoppable and leaving you free to attack.

暗影萨满

• 枷锁 and 妖术 gives Sven plenty of time to beat down the enemy.

巨魔战将

• 战斗专注 gives Sven incredible attack speed, allowing him to quickly demolish the enemy.

其他

• Sven's kit is quite versatile and generally speaking there are very few heroes that Sven doesn't make a good ally with.
• In general, any hero with lengthy stuns or roots will synergize well with Sven.
• Because of Warcry, Sven makes a particularly powerful ally in teams with heroes with little armor, especially if they have otherwise large sums of HP, as his whole team can become extremely resilient to physical damage, which is a very powerful advantage of late game scenarios. Example of heroes with little armor but with other forms to survive fights include 炼金术士, 钢背兽, 食人魔魔法师 (Note: Though the hero starts out with strong armor, this will be quickly outweighed by his abysmal agility growth) and 噬魂鬼.
• With enough mana regeneration, it's possible for Sven to be run as a roamer and help land kills with Storm Hammer. Though this limits Sven's early farm significantly, it is possible to catch up in farm and transition into full core with neutral creep stacks and Great Cleave. Consider this strategy if your team has an overabundance of cores, as most heroes are incapable of catching up in farm as easily as Sven can, so denying your other cores of farm could be significantly more detrimental to your team than denying Sven's farm.
