敌法师

• 敌法师的 法力损毁可以快速烧干美杜莎的法力值，尤其是在拥有 幻影斧之后。
• 依靠 闪烁，敌法师可以轻松对美杜莎发起攻击，燃烧她的法力值或迫使她使用石化凝视。
• 法力虚空对美杜莎庞大的法力值上限和法力值使用量很有效。由于美杜莎受益于法力护盾的伤害减免，这个技能对她身旁的盟友威胁更大。

幻影长矛手

• 持有 净魂之刃的幻影长矛手可以快速烧干美杜莎的法力值，让法力护盾的效果大大降低。
• 神行百变的1秒间无敌状态可以用来躲避美杜莎石化凝视的石化状态和秘术异蛇的攻击。
• 幻影长矛手镜像的数量远超美杜莎分裂箭的目标数量。

司夜刺客

• 如果美杜莎只依赖智力来提升自己的最大法力值，等级4的 法力燃烧会每4秒燃烧美杜莎38.5%的最大法力值。另外， 法力燃烧的60%伤害被法力护盾吸收，这将燃烧更多的法力值。
• 秘术异蛇与分裂箭都是不可控的伤害类型，可能会击中激活了 尖刺外壳的司夜刺客。同时，它们无法攻击隐身的司夜刺客。
• 由于美杜莎缺乏单体输出能力，在美杜莎作为队伍中主力输出的情况下将非常难以击杀持有 阿哈利姆神杖的司夜刺客。

殁境神蚀者

• 奥术天球与会快速削减美杜莎的法力值。
• 星体禁锢不会打断 石化凝视并且依然会石化面向美杜莎的单位（通常是释放星体禁锢的殁境神蚀者自己），但是这会阻止美杜莎寻找一个良好的输出环境进行输出。

祈求者

• 电磁脉冲是一个广范围的法力燃烧爆炸，如果击中美杜莎的法力护盾会因为高伤害而燃烧美杜莎更多的法力值。
• 超震声波会对美杜莎施加缴械状态从而无法在团战中造成范围物理输出。
• 急速冷却可以使敌方队伍对美杜莎造成高频率的短暂眩晕，从而阻止她释放她的大招（拥有很长的施法前摇）。

斯拉克

• 美杜莎在面对 能量转移时更加脆弱，因为力量与智力都在影响着她的有效生命值。

狙击手

• 狙击手的射程比美杜莎的射程与大招范围更远，意味着他可以在团战中对美杜莎造成持续输出。

米波

• 美杜莎与其他一些不出逃生和 黑皇杖的英雄很容易就会被 地之束缚抓住。
• 米波有足够的时间使用 忽悠从石化凝视中逃脱。另一方面，美杜莎也可以使用石化凝视对米波的切入进行反击。

天穹守望者

• 与其他镜像英雄不同，风暴双雄不会被石化凝视消灭。
• 他可以使用 乱流来触发林肯发球的法术格挡，然后使用另一个乱流来减速美杜莎，使相位鞋变得毫无用处。与 闪光幽魂配合使用时效果更佳。

物品

• 净魂之刃会快速烧掉美杜莎用于法力护盾的法力值。
• 死灵书会召唤具有法力燃烧能力的随从，同时美杜莎也很容易受到遗愿的伤害。
• 天堂之戟的缴械对美杜莎的分裂箭极为有效。

克制...

不朽尸王

• Medusa's Split shot allows her to focus on killing the tombstone while still dealing damage to the enemy heroes, or simply ignore the tombstone and allow her split shot to prevent the zombies from building up.

瘟疫法师

• Mana shield effectively counters Reaper's Scythe, as it can tank 60% of the damage. With sufficient mana, Medusa can survive the Scythe at 19%/22%/24%.
• Heartstopper Aura does not chip away at Medusa's mana.
• Necrophos has a movement speed equal to Medusa, and is easy to chase down with a slowing item in Medusa's inventory.

魅惑魔女

• Enchantress often has a small army of neutral creeps, allowing Medusa to hit her with a later bounce of her Mystic Snake.
• Enchantress passive Untouchable is easily avoided by Medusa. Simply target another enemy hero or creep, and let split shot hit her.

斯温

• Medusa is one of Sven's primal counter since he relies on man-fighting which is prevented and kited with stone gaze
• Also has a small mana pool and mystic snake does pure damage while a unit is petrified, a minor buff that is useful in case he used warcry
• A farmed Medusa will be a very hard kill for Sven forcing him to go on others while she chips away at him, usually building Eye of Skadi will leave Sven very slow and soon dead

• Completely negates the burst damage from the shotgun build as mana shield blocks all damage before reductions

斯拉达

• Another example, mana shield negates all damage before reductions meaning that Corrosive Haze won't do much unless Medusa is completely out of mana

噬魂鬼

• A very immobile hero very likely to Sven, making Medusa hard to catch or even use your Open Wounds on her as a Medusa will almost always go Linkens Sphere, making Lifestealer an easy target for Stone Gaze

Others

• Heroes that rely on illusions to deal damage will find their illusions destroyed by Stone Gaze and Split Shot: 混沌骑士, 娜迦海妖
• Heroes that rely on summons. A few strong summons, such as with Lycan or allow Medusa to bounce her Mystic Snake between them to hit the hero for additional damage. Many weak summons, such as Broodmother or Lycan, force the group to tank Medusa's split shot.
• Heroes that rely on BKB to survive teamfights.
• In theory Medusa counters all Melee heroes, even though that is not the case with Mana-burning heroes and heroes with escapes, Medusa can outfight even AM if he gets petrified so by all means Medusa should be feared

• Deals area damage with ultimate and can stun/disable to cast Stone Gaze and make it easier to freeze enemy heroes.

斧王

• Berserker's Call can force enemies to face Medusa during her Stone Gaze.

卓尔游侠

• amplifies Medusa's Split Shot.
• Drow Ranger's midgame strength allows Medusa to farm safely, then take the lead once Drow Ranger's relative strength drops in the late game.

暗影恶魔

• During teamfights, casting Disruption upon Medusa creates a pair of illusions with Split Shot and 80% of her base damage.
• Shadow Demon can stack 2-3 jungle camps at the same time, speeding up Medusa's farming phase.
• Stoned enemies are immune to magical damage, but Shadow Poison can still build stacks during the Stoned phase.

巫医

• Witch Doctor's ultimate deals physical damage, so if Medusa managed to petrify a bunch of enemies with the given physical damage bonus, Death Ward can shred through enemies especially with Aghanim's Scepter

Others

• Heroes that deal pure damage like Tinker's Aghanim Laser upgrade can give him enough time to cast it a couple of times or Outworld Devourer can deal the full damage of his Arcane Orb and stack a lot of intelligence for those 3 seconds of Stone Gaze
• Everyone with good physical damage and lock down for a good Stone Gaze
• Abilities that grant sustain or heroes with sustain to keep the enemy kited and distracted while Medusa slowly destroys them
